anyone watching it? not listened to grace for about a month + it's reminded me how much i love it!!

i watched it! it was dead good, i didn't really know that much about him, except for having heard grace but now i know lots! what a great programme!

Jeff Buckley was an absolute genuis...the guys a legend.....i taped it cuz i'm gonna watch it loads cuz its so cool seeing him sing and play.....does not just make u wish u were that talented???

yup.
he could play any style of guitar better than anyone else i can think of, he could hit 8 octaves with his voice. and he was more creative and wrote better songs than most.
and he seems like a really cool guy too, such a tragedy, think how good he would be now, from the demos ive heard of his later stuff he hadnt nearly hit his stride with grace.

i think if '...my sweetheart the drunk' was finished, it would probably have been the album of his career. I think it's disheartening to hear all the suicide rumours - how could he be that fed up with everything after only starting his career. It took Kurt a while, let's be honest - plus he was a bit mad. Jeff seemed like a very genial person.

I remember borrowing the live in chicago vid a couple of years ago, and it was fucking awesome. I'm just waiting for some tribute bands to start playing at the Viewfield, like 'Beth Juckley' hahehehehehe
