Hello all, I'm kinda new here so forgive me if this has been done before but I live ONLY for my Saturday nights.
I daydream my working week away by looking forward to the following Saturday. I'm an old wrinkly bugger with a beer belly to be proud of, and my Saturday nights usually kick off in The Counting House for a hearty meal with the missus around 6pm. Then (to keep her happy) we're usually off down to The Yard, then Yates, then Lloyds. After that lot are out of the way the rest of the evening is mine (he he). Could be anywhere from The Chambers (some half decent cover bands on these days) to the Beat Bar, to the Westie (give it a break guys, it has been a willing venue for some of Scotlands best up and coming bands for years). After all that it's inevitible I'll always end up in the Cotton Club (good luck Ian!) despite all best intentions to have a quiet weekend. Even at kicking out time I usually manage to persuade a few friends to come home with us fir a wee swally (keep your mind out of the gutter). Then I spend all Sunday lying and groaning phrases like "never again" and old favourites such as "I'm sure I got a bad pint" Still......ROLL ON SATURDAY !!!!! Only four more sleeps !!!! |

i usualy have to work till around 10 then i end up having a couple in the nether inn, then usualy to the cotton club. i usualy have no time at all to get really wrecked so i make sure i eat nothing all day.
its a healthy lifestyle that leaves me burned out and feeling a bit like a wet tissue for most of sunday. |

Usually sit about at a friend's house drinking...hit the nether region, continue drinking, and then end up at the Cotton Club in an inebriated state and give the bouncers some jip.
Then, I wander home, wondering where the shitting crikey my sanity has went to, fall over lots. Wake up on Sunday with lots of unexplained bruises and wallow in self pity at the fact that I feel like a piece of shit that's been eaten by a horse and then shat out again. Then there's Sunday...
