The scariest thing about the list is just how corporate the world of "alternative" rock has got. The dorks from Good Charlotte get on the list because they have their own label, clothing line and oh, yeah, a shitty band who backed out of the second Rock Against Bush comp cause they were worried it would hurt record sales. Must. Destroy
Frankly it's the sort of thing that makes me want to live in a cave and listen to anarcho punk records At least Steve Albini, Fat Mike, Ian Mackaye and Brett Gurewitz made the list. |

most of it is utter shite but i think they got it right with Sharon Osbourne, after all she is the power behind Ozzfest and the Ozzfest beats the everlasting pish out of all the other metal package tours on the planet, i can't really think of anyone more powerful to make or break bands than her.
Err how can Kurt Cobain be powerful when he's dead? Just a question |

i have not read Kerrang as it really began to sick a few years back...and this just proves it.
BUT ![]() Sharon Osbourne is def No1. I dearly love that woman. And in my opinion Kury Cobain should fuck off to near the end...he is just crap! to add to point...get Mike Patton to the front and get Devon Townsend up there too... daft basts Last edited by mebunny_666 : 30th June 2004 at 11:25 PM. |

I love the way that Kirsty's posts are allway completely incomprehensible even AFTER she has edited them.
Why would a has-been like Mike Patton be in a list like that Kirsty?? |

Fugazi and Dischord remain the exception to the rule that proves you can have respect, credibility, great music, affordable prices and make a living from your art. Long may they continue! |
