What about the occasional person with an XYY or XXY?

XXY is called Klienfelter's syndrome (male but with reduced fertility and a number of female secondary sexual characteristics).

XYY tend to be mad bastards. Can't remember the technical term for that one...

Unless that comment is somehow tounge in cheek, and being taken out of context, then I don't see how it's any different, or any less backwards than any other hate speech. To me, it's no different than claiming that black people are genetically inferior.

if you want to really argue about this would it not be better to say that the female gene is less efficient than the male considering it contains more junk DNA?

If you really wanted to use genetics/evolution as some kind of pro-feminist rally point it would be better to discuss sperm/egg sizes. Both were originially the same then the (genes of)"males" realised that they could cut back on the amount of material in sperm and save energy/make more sperm for the same amount. The "females" then added more material to eggs. Billions of years later the egg is massive compared to sperms because:

pro-feminist:
men are selfish

anti-feminist:
men are more efficient
