Justice Force 5

I don't know how many of you know but since leaving SpaceMan Lance I’ve been working on a new project with Alex (my brother, eroei, ex-in her shadow, "misanthropy" on ugs) anyway it's a ska core kind of thing, I’m not sure how much we sound like them but we listen to a lot of howards alias and capdown to give you a general idea.

so we're doing a tour in April with misled youth and spaceman lance, the second annual ska bands against racisms little brother and recently we've been trying to get our act together to get ready for this tour. we got Andy from nys and the lance on board to play drums and our friend from Canada (Emily) to play bass. i sing and play guitar and alex plays trumpet and sings.

so yeah my point is we just finished the first track of our recording today, "Get Your Feet On The Floor", a song about expressing yourself dangerously at gigs and other stuff. you can hear it here:

and i was kind of hoping people could tell us what you think of it. we're a new band just starting out, also i've never sung or played guitar in a band before and alex has been playing trumpet for something like 3 months so we'd really appreciate anything you have to say about the band.

I'm not that big a ska kiddy, but I approve, heavily.

I still think Alex should tell a bad joke at the end of every gig.

Personally, It's a good song in general but It's not my type of music so I didn't enjoy it that much BUT that's not saying the song is bad because the song is really good for what you have done

I think we were a bit hasty in uploading this, I've been mixing and remixing constantly over the past two days. think I finally have it though... if you downloaded it before can you re-download it? you'll save my blushes in a year's time or so when I'm at a social event and someone breaks out the infamous "alex's shit mix of that song that time."
