it's so stupid though, surely it will be argued back that they were responsible for there own actions, partaking of the mosh and also attending an event that was possibly not legal.
and like $30million cuz you fell out of a window and hurt yourself? maybe the cost of medical bills and loss of earnings but $30 million?

Fucks sake, thats a bit mental, it seems like a pretty stupid place to have gigs tho, if it was that easy for so many people to fall out the window, so i can see the owner of the place being fucked, but it is nothing to do with the band i wouldnt think, nothing legal anyways

although they didn't fall out the window, they went right throught it. 5 people. claiming the owner is at fault seems a bit sketchy to me, surely he can say the windows are not for slamming into therefore they don't have to be reinforced glass, if someone decides to hit the window with force he can't be held accountable for that persons actions only the person that did it can be.
just like gun manufacturers claim guns don't kill, just the people that use them do and it's not their fault as they only make guns to be used in legal ways.

i can understand the family of the guy who died wanting someone to blame and to pay for it but the ones that only got hurt who are suing personally i can't get my head round.
maybe they just weren't fans of the band anyway.

i think its a favourite American past-time that is slowly starting to come over here. I dont think you can blame the band or the owner of the appartment if someone slams through your window. If i was having a house party and someone fell of my roof how am i to blame for that? Anyone in their right mind knows not to dance on a roof, just like anyone would know now to slam dance or 'mosh' around windows. Its stupid. If anything these people should be getting sued by the authorities for wasting time and seeking to cash in.
