The last two "proper" TFC albums were "Howdy!" (2000) and "Songs From Northern Britain" (1997), but there was also a best of and an album with Jad Fair ("Songs of Hope & Wisdom", which was braw) since then.
I've read a lot of good things about the new album ("Man Made"), so i'm looking forward to it more than i expected. It was produced by John McEntire from Tortoise, though i don't expect it to actually sound like Tortoise! Anyway, i caught a bit of the single on the radio and it sounded good. Oh, and for Andy's benefit, the album is out on the 9th May followed by a single ("Falling Leaves") on the 23rd May. |
