best mp3 site??

hey there, i know there's probably been a thread about this before or something similar but hey i just thought i'd ask again..

whats the best site to downloads mp3s n videos n stuff cos i had kazaa and that led to my computer fucking up big style so i had to get a new one *thank you daddy* but i still wanna download stuff n make cds n that but as ya guessed ya need something to download from.

so basically, whats the best site or am i just gonna have to settle for kazaa again??

thats what i use. loads of stuff to choose from. just need patience to learn what you're doing.

also try soulseek, i cant remember the site add, so just search on google and you'l find it.

I'd recommend DC++.

It'll take a couple of days to get round the jargon but it's better than Kazza and there are loads of versions in the world that allow you do do more than the standard download.

There are updates to it ever couple of months as well. I wouldn't use it if you're using a 56k modem though.

yeah i know what you mean, i was using grokster whic is just the sa,me as kaaza and it fucked up my computer completely. got rid of it a couple days ago and everything has run fine since then.

Winmx sucks!!! I'd recommend soulseek as well! The address for it is <url>www.slsk.org</url> Its real easy to use aswell!

soulseek is ok if you want things simple.

But winmx and DC++ are quicker, have more features and have huge user/hub lists.

yeah but winmx only really seems to have more commercial stuff.

anyone after some truely obscure (and often mostly shit) Norwegian grindcore, use DC++ or DC. the punkhardcore hub is excellent for metalcore and punk rock.

With DC++ I can get in nearly all the hubs but have only 1 upload slot and nobody can search my files so my comp doesn't get overloaded

. We're talking Terrabytes of music and apps.

But I used Winmx to get Coldfusion server and a couple of games. Always best to have options.
