introducing people to music.
I l-o-v-e introducing people to music ( just as I love being introduced to it myself) when I hear a good song I feel the need to pass it on to everyone I think would like it. Its not arrogant or patronising, I just love introducing people to things that they might enjoy, anyway, at my school, people have lived in a pretty sheltered background and haven't been exposed to much music outside the "charts" and alot of them are pretty happy like that,

Because I don't want to sound arrogant I try to be subtle in introducing them to new music, so, in art we can listen to whatever music we choose, and everyone just let me put on the cds, I made a few mix cds and played them continuously for the past few months, and today, low and behold, i had girls aloud's biggest fan singing happily along to "mew" 156.

I am so happy. I feel like a missionary.

Introducing music to people is one of my favourite things, but I never really like it if someone gives me a cd and says 'listen to this'. I'm too stubborn, I like discovering things by myself. Hearing something I like then asking about it.
