im a fan of yellowcard, but this isnt right. if a band kicks out a member, he should just walk away, he isnt wanted and the band is not gonna work.
running it like a buisiness is fucked!

its not really as if he NEEDS to stay in to make money, if he starts a new band, he has a fucking record label of his own to release stuff on!

and if that doesnt work, hes still got a fucking label to live off!

If he's guitarist, maybe he was a founding member and wrote most of the stuff and now that his band IS his job, he isn't happy with a bunch of guys throwing him out of a band he sees as his, and a much he wrote all the songs to get them where they are at. They should just split up.

but you can't criticise bands for treating it as a business... when a fanbase as big as theirs develop they have to tour constantly to keep them happy. Doing this means not being able to hold a steady job, and so they need to pay their bills, feed themselves and their families, etc. from the money they make from touring/records. It doesn't mean they love it any less, in fact, to dedicate your life to it could mean you love it more...

but theyre still shit.
