That's not true Chief we ain't playing 'cool' music of the moment that's all Libertines and Babyshambles. Everybody seems to be on that just now even Graham Coxon just brought out what I think is just the same album as that Carl Brarararattttt band just have. We write music for ourselves if people get off on that great, if not we will still keep playing cause we are doing this for us.

There is a lot of hate in this wich all stems from what looks like The Rise just saying that their gig in Mexico had been cancelled.

Its pretty embarrasing really that other people(including those in local bands aswell) would go to such lengths to slag another band off over fuck all.

Unfortunatley, upcoming band the rise will not be in attendance at the global sandcastle building contest this year as they are currently busy thinking up new and even more juvenile ways to try and insult people on the internet. The band would like to thank everyone that has made this impressive feat possible as the band always look to lose possible fans if given the chance.

Hey clogs, lets agree to disagree, i apologise for saying u rub your vagina, although i found it funny others clearly haven't, and of course yourself.

Us not going to mexico dosn't reflect our music, which to us is the main thing, it was cancelled cause of the cocks that are GBOB, which i all advise to stay away from this year!!

Most of the people on here are from bands, and i know that if anyone of you's entered a competition and won, then got told you's were going to mexico to play in front of 100,000 all expenses paid, i'm sure u'd just be as happy and eagar to tell people about your acheivement. To have it all taken away with 7 days to go, wasn't fair and bang out of order! we only posted a statement cause we believed that was the most professinal way to approach it, were not getting ahead of ourselves, or do we think were better or bigger than any other band, anyone that knows us, will tell u that!

Hopefully good will come out of this, as we've always said
