T Break.
FUCKING YAS! We got through!
T Break 2006 has been the most successful in the event’s history with over 1000 demos received from a variety of musical genres. The standard this year was extremely high and choosing 48 bands to play at the showcases was no easy feat for the T Break judges. In alphabetical order, the showcase bands are; 3 Style (Edinburgh) Amplifico (Edinburgh) Attic Lights (Glasgow) Ben Arkle (Glasgow) Beth Fouracre (Glasgow) Billy Bates (Glasgow) Bwana Devil (East Kilbride) Cartelle (Glasgow) Civilised (Kilmarnock) Dumb Instrument (West Kilbride) Elkin (Edinburgh) Emergency Red (Edinburgh) Employee of the Month (Edinburgh) Endor (Glasgow) Exit Pilot (Glasgow) Fair Witness (Musselburgh) For Your Sins (Paisley) Found (Edinburgh) Free of Them (Edinburgh) Futuro (Glasgow) How to Swim (Glasgow) Injuns (Glasgow/Skye) Ives (Glasgow) Jack Butler (Stirling) Kings Die Kings (Edinburgh) Korova (Cockenzie) Laki Mera (Bo’Ness) Lords of Bastard (Edinburgh) Magdalen Green (Dundee) Magdalena (Paisley) Meursault (Edinburgh) NLD (Greenock) o.b.e (Edinburgh) Project:Venhell (Stonehaven) Reograd (Perth) Scunner (Glasgow) Sergent (Fife) Solarise (Ayrshire) Some Young Pedro (Glasgow) Sonnet 65 (Angus) Sweetheart (Fife) The Acute (Edinburgh) The Tabernacle (Edinburgh) Think:Fire (Glasgow) Tinrokit (Dalkeith) Trap_6 (Erskine) Underbelly (Edinburgh) Yellow Bentines (Glasgow) The showcases run from May 7th- May 10th at The Liquidroom in Edinburgh and May 11th- May 14th at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut. Full details of who will be playing which showcase will be available here next week. Tickets are available from the venues and are priced at £5. |

Good to see Magdalen Green got picked. An ace band that definitely deserve to be playing.
We played a gig in Glasgow with Injuns and from what I remember they sounded good too. |

Alamos never entered,
as for the signed band How to swin are signed to Electric Honey (i think) but are still playing T-break so i'm not sure on the "signed status" Other than like i hardly know any bands in it this year. good luck sonnet 65 |
