T Break.
FUCKING YAS! We got through!

T Break 2006 has been the most successful in the event’s history with over 1000 demos received from a variety of musical genres. The standard this year was extremely high and choosing 48 bands to play at the showcases was no easy feat for the T Break judges. In alphabetical order, the showcase bands are;

The showcases run from May 7th- May 10th at The Liquidroom in Edinburgh and May 11th- May 14th at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut. Full details of who will be playing which showcase will be available here next week. Tickets are available from the venues and are priced at £5.

one band from dundee? oh well. ive only heard of 3 of that big list. yellow bentines is a cool name. theres a band of guys at my uni called the low miffs. mon the band names nicked from brass eye.

edit: just listening to that think:fire band. guy's voice is really painful to listen to. so fucking flat!

Good to see Magdalen Green got picked. An ace band that definitely deserve to be playing.

We played a gig in Glasgow with Injuns and from what I remember they sounded good too.

Alamos never entered,
as for the signed band How to swin are signed to Electric Honey (i think) but are still playing T-break so i'm not sure on the "signed status"

Other than like i hardly know any bands in it this year.
