IF, he did start preaching racial hatred and what not then the hell yes indeed you may have some cause for concern(and fuckin rightly so), but you said 9-10 christians are this this and that...well, i have found that it is more like 9-10 non-christians, hindus, muslins, jews, voodoo(whodowhatyoudontdaredo)people that have misinformed (thats my polite way of saying WRONG) opinions about religious folks.

As for COOMAN VIEWS HELD BY CHRISTIAN HARDCORE BANDS...well, i tend not to listen to much hardcore but you seem to have a good grasp on christian hardcore bands that promote such hatred.
Since you seem to think that virtualy all these bands are the same (i guess there must be a few) i challenge you to name 20. Then name the songs you find offensive.

Preferably in another thread (were posts like this really should be).

what the fuck are you on about? get a grip, I love Christians, hug Christians in the street, I give 95% of my earnings to Christians, I travel the world promoting Christianity, I am the Pope, I met Jesus and I hugged him and thanked him, I live in a Church.

I'm not googling the names of 20 hardline Christian bands then scanning all the metaphors for the song that says "kill homos" or "don't kill babies". read the wiki articles.

But the article disproves that by implying its only relative to bands of that particular sub genre of Christian hardcore not Christian hardcore as a whole.

if you read the objections to the (very very sparse) article, you'll find a number of people have dismissed the article as it contains little or no information. no real referrals to bands, politics etc. compare it to the hardline article.

think rationally. hardcore is about music + extreme opinions. Christian hardcore is generally a vehicle for anti gay and pro life views, despite the fact that there are bands containing Christians who do not publically express these views.

in a similar sense, you take the Nazi punk movement. there are bands of skinheads who make Oi! music who aren't automatically members of the National Front, but if someone was look for a drummer for a band that sounded like Skrewdriver eyebrows would be raised. I believe someone has actually made a post on UGS in the past looking for a band that sounded like the Nazi Punk bands, but they did express clearly in the post they didn't share the same views.
