Seriously guys, you can stop shitting up this guys thread just because he's trying to start a christian band, and it's against the \m/ HARDCORE\METAL\ROCK\WHATEVER CODE \m/ or something to be a christian, or whatever.

It's not funny, it doesn't contribute anything to the forum, and last time I checked, the title of this thread isn't "post HILARIOUS comments about how I want to start a christian band in a rock genre".

That's about 5 replies I've had to delete since this thread started. I know we all like a laugh here, but I thought people were more mature than that.

I can't speak for anyone else but the reason I posted something snide is I find knucklehead Christian hardcore bands offensive. the world doesn't need another XdiscipleX AD.

Christian hardcore is synonymous with right wing Catholicism and the pro-life movement in particular. I doubt a request for facist oi! band members would be treated with open arms.

if the OP just wants to sing about loving Jesus then I apologise.

There's a difference between slagging off new posters because they've come on spamming or otherwise being an arsehole/moron, and slagging a new poster just because they're new, or because they're a christian trying to start a band, and this breaks the \m/ METAL\HARDCORE\ROCK CODE \m/.

Because you're not allowed to like these genres or make music in these genres, unless you're an atheist, pagan or satanist, with left wing political opinions.

there's no need to bring your horse into this, it's a beautiful stallion and stands very far above the ground, but that's irrelevant.

I've already explained why this is very suspicious, 9/10 christian hardcore = pro-life, pious, close minded and dangerous.

there's a difference between some teenage boys singing about girls and being depressed, and some teenage boys singing about incitement to racial hatred and qualifiying violence.

I've already said if I'm being too suspicious and the OP just wants to sing about Jesus in an open minded fashion then by all means I will delete my posts and apologise, but if controversial forms of music with a political agenda, be it christian hardcore, skinhead oi!, black power hip hop or peta associated eco-terrorist crust music, it is going to be met with derision, and rightly so.
