History of alternative music in Dundee

I've started an article on the USG wiki relating to the history of alternative music in Dundee. I've jotted down a few notes already but I'm very sure that a lot of the crowd here will have mucho additions, corrections, dates, etc to add. Also, it doesn't have to be club or rock/metal specific stuff and if you're unsure how to use wikis, just sign in, click the edit link on the article and pop what you want to say at the bottom and someone will sort out the formatting/layout later.

Excellent, but I'm embarassed by the fact I completely missed the wiki when I was doing the redesign. I better get that sorted ASAP.

A mention of Associates is essential. One of the best bands ever, they were.

Fixed and expanded a few things, will do more when I have time and get my brain to remember stuff!

Seems mostly accurate. I added a couple of things.

There was also a night called "Leather and Lace" on in the Tay hotel. I went to it once in 1998. I don't remember when it started or when the Tay hotel shut down though.

Also Barry used to DJ the Balcony on a Friday, but I don't remember if the night had a name or not.

Also, I can't remember what Lucifer's Mill is called now. It's that wee place near the Jahangir... I went there last year around christmas time...

Need people older than me to put down info about places like Foreigners.. etc

pretty sure it was around March 2006, but dont know an exact date

hahaha the tay hotel! it closed down after multiple fires and deaths in the rooms. all natural causes (by that i mean old age and heroin overdose)

my sister used to live in it and freqent said night.

the cellar bar was shit hot as well!
