The Vetacore don't write the kind of music I would normally listen to. However, I've been impressed by the degree of musicianship demonstrated at their live shows. I perform to the best of my abilities in all my musical endeavours and constantly try to improve my skills and understanding of music. Despite a lack of familiarity with the style of music The Vetacore create, I still take pleasure from the fact they are a well rehearsed, tight, confident live band and are clearly comfortable working within their own chosen boundaries. In addition to this I like the fact they are bringing something different to the Dundee scene and do it well. It may not be everybody's cup of tea but to liken them to Simply Red and Chris Rea is inaccuracy on your part Alex.

From your own post it would appear that there is no difference at all. Guff is guff, and there are too many people with a 'live and let live' attitude to shit local bands. |

I don't want to get dragged into any childish bickering but it has to be said that the Vetacore by anyone's standards are pretty poor. I just listened to them on myspace and found the crushing blandness excruciating. I'm sure they're lovely folks but you can't rationally justify their music.

Now now Mike, they have a 'highly skilled rhythm section', are 'Accomplished musicians' and 'a tight band', you are clearly earless if you can't hear their genius.

3rd person? Referring to bands I'm in by their names (bands that feature other people)?
Vetacore=hideous muso shite, one step away from an M People/Sheryl Crow mash-up. Only retards could like them, retards or people who hate their ears. |
