The Kimberly Steaks call it a day
So we (The Kimberly Steaks) have decided to call it quits. It's been a long time coming, and I don't suppose anyone really cares, but yeah. Cheers to everyone who helped us out in the past, lent us equipment (I've no idea how we managed to play about 100 gigs with no equipment) and gave us floors to sleep on. It was good while it lasted but it's just become more hassle than it's worth.

A great punk band from Larkhall to be more precise.

Famous enough to warrant a 'we're calling it a day' post?

You were a band for 4 years according to your myspace, yet only played 100 gigs in that time? That's not a lot lads.....

all my bands have played less than that combined. It isn't as hectic as some people's schedules but that works out at roughly two a month for 4 years if the number is precisely 100 gigs. That's quite constant I would say?

That's precisely the reason we broke up, we were hardly playing gigs anymore as our bassist was living and working in Dundee, and due to lots of other stuff. We only played about 15 gigs max in the last year or so.
