Funny eh! It's like our fault,hmmmm. It's not as if we dragged everyone away. They left on their own accord (no fucking wonder!)

And they call us ignorant. Well, at least we're not arrogant. If it wasnt for us, Boomhauer, there would have been NOBODY YOU HEAR!!! NOBODY!!!! Apparently there was only about 10 people for you lot.

We made no contractual obligation to watch your set of PISH! Maybe you should try to be good then people might watch...plus, having 8 members in your band must suck big time, so you'd better make sure your egos get paid the same amount lads

I dont understand it either!!!! It seems crazy to me that you guys could be to blame for us all leaving. The only reason i went was to support Tear Jerk. After fucking my neck i had to go home cos i had to be up at 6:30 the next morning.

I really couldnt give a monkeys about seeing the other bands. Its not as if i cant see them a million other times in the future.

If they cant attract their own audience thats their fault and nobody elses. Just because you have had some success doesnt mean you dont have to try any more to bring the punters in.

If the majority of the people were there to see Tear Jerk, would it not have made sense to have them headlining???? Dont tell me that bands have som kind of ranking system based on egos, cos that is just plain stupid.

Apparently, they did not flyer the gig at all, so that may have had something to do with it. I was speaking to someone i know who was also at the gig and stayed till the end and they were saying that the last band sucked and no one stayed for them. I'm not sure about the whole story, but i was kinda dissappointed by the turn out too.

I guess there is a lesson to be learned here.

yeah, its a bit of a cop out. i love stayin to see the other bands who play with us AS LONG AS THEY ARE ENTERTAINING. i really like the guys in boomhauer but the music just dosent do anything for me. the only reason i would`ve stayed would`ve been to collect our cut of the door money seein as all the ppl paid to see us, but hey, that would`ve been pointless aswell coz they kept it. ignorant- fair enough, but at least we`re straight about it and dont rip ppl off.

I Hate to say this but we did put up posters in The Westie we were going to
put up posters in the town because we were to busy but Barry from tear JERK
said that they would be happy to put stuff around the town .I Didnt see
anything in the town or anywere else and plus it was not our gig it was
INTERLACE'S gig we were just the Support but at least we were there till the
end.
If you like tear TERK then of course you are not going to like us we are
completly different to what they do we just asked them to play to help them
out ......

not completely true. yes i did talk to scott as he was putting up a poster in the westport on the night of 28th march. all that was said was scott asked us to be on the bill for the gig, i said yeah no bother and scott said he would get new posters done, with our name added and give them to the coucil.
its all pointless now. gigs over. lets just all move on. and never play with the boom again. simple. it didnt work. we had a laff and left as we were free to do and got shit for it, but hey sometimes shit happens. onwards and upwards. 17th april - Westie, us and the pretty damn great Boss-Star appear in "WESTIE GIG WITH PEOPLE AT IT" shocker.

Well, glad that one is settled. It seems like Dundee, more than any where else seems to have a problem with bands and conflicting interests, and that is probably what is holding alot of bands back from genuine success.

Luckily it doesnt happen all the time, but sometimes when it does happen, it only serves to have a negative effect on all bands involved.

words of wisdom eh. kooj, u sound like a poof sometimes,lol. u speak the truth tho. we dont wanna fall out with anyone, well i dont, i cant speak for the other guys. we just wanna co-exist with all the bands in this town, we are all in the same boat and we all should help each other out if possible. big deal, we all got a little pissed off after the last gig. it was just a lack of communication from all involved and im sure it wont happen again.
