I noticed this in a column at the top of page 34 yesterday-

Mark McGregor

The MoS has apologised in the High Court to Mark McGregor, formerly chief executive of the Conservative Party, for an article on October 13, 2002, which wrongly suggested (and this is the good part) he had campaigned for the legalisation of incest and hard drugs and for the privitisation of the Royal Family and had supproted a 'Hang Nelson Mandela' campaign. The MoS accepted that Mr McGregor had never been party to any such campaigns and agreed to pay Mr McGregor substantial damages and costs.

My fucking god! They are idiots, but that is taking the piss!

I know- i remeber the time that they campaigned for the repeal of the European Convention of Human Rights from British law, even though it isn't actually incorporated into it! Those people.....
