What does everyone think of dundee crowds???

right what does everyone think of dundees crowds!!!???

i think they generally give a good reception to bands palying, but i dotn think there is enough movement unless the koala boys are in the house!! so what does everyone else think?

I think it sucks that there is so much apathy when it comes to live music but i also think its really shitty when bands turn around and bite the hand that feeds. They build themselves up as a great live band in the Dundee scene then fuck off out of Dundee and say how shit it is and never come back. At a local level bands cant EXPECT the crowd to move around so much. I'd rather do non-contact dancing than getting punched in the face.
But i think its pretty hypocritical if bands are moaning about their crowd not moving but they do exactly the same whenever any other band is on, stay concrete still. (no offence but i'm talking to you gav)
This is just my opinion but I feel that a band should be happy with people enjoying and appreciating their music more than getting hunners of folk moshing.

Just my opinion, please feel free to blast me out of the skies

I agree the crowds are pretty shitty in dundee, its like everyones too shy to just let loose and go for it. If im paying to go to a gig i'll really enjoy myself and dance around like a maniac. I feel sorry for the bands playing. It must be shit to be giving it your all on stage and the crowd are just standing staring you out.
