I think it is. lol. That guy was one of the members of the Dogtown crews. One of the early skateboard crews in the states. Apparently skateboarding wouldnt be where it is now without the dogtown and z- boy crews. One summer there was a droughht and people took the water out of their pools. So they used them as mini skate ramps and everything. Pretty cool.

Cool, looks like i got someone to host the site for free, cos the bandwidth is quite costly at the moment. But we mayh ave to put their banner on the site somewhere and give them a mention, but that shouldnt be too much a problem. What do you think.

Going back to Dogtown and the Z boys though. I got to go to the original surf shop where they all hung out in the summer. The wife's mother just moved to Santa MOnica (the Dogtown of the movie) so we did a huge road trip in a big Uhaul from the East Coast all the way to the west coast with her stuff.

The old wrecked pier where they used to surf like lunatics is gone but we managed to track down where it used to be by asking a lifeguard.

So pissed off though. Stacey Peralta was actually going to be giving a talk in the wee local video shop about the movie the very evening we had to fly back!!

I'm moving to California before the end of the year though, oh yes!
