£££?
Need to know that before anyone can advise. Edit: Just checked the site again, 150 bucks in tiny red text. It's a fairly crappy machine but for 150 I guess it's okay if you're not planning on using it for much... Last edited by : : Scott : : : 2nd June 2008 at 10:38 PM. |

If you're going to be pedantic it says £144.99. Anyway, I should qualify my earlier advice, or the lack thereof by saying I don't know much about low end pc hardware. It seems okay for the price but I might be way off.

To be fair, i'd say it was a good price. As all your wanting it for is the internet and i tunes, im sure it's more than capable of handling that. It's not the best system, but to be fair it's not shit either.
the only thing i will say, is buy some extra memory, 512Mb of ram is pretty poor. My brother bought a PC a few years back and it's pretty similar to what your considering to buy and his only real hindrance was the little ram he had (512Mb) slowed him down when trying to run certain Programmes. It was mainly Video editing ones and such and even know you might not plan of using high spec games or programmes it won't hurt to upgrade now before you kick yourself. i just wish i had a spare £150 because i would pick this up. my old PC died on me and i had to rake old trusty out of the back of the cupboard. It has an 8Gb harddrive, 320 Ram and an 800MHz Processor. |

This is more than enough for i-Tunes and web browsing.
Make sure that this is definitely all you want the PC for before you buy it though, as it will be crap for anything else, and if it turns out that you do need it for anything else, then upgrading won't be much of an option, as you'll have to ditch 90% of what's in there to make upgrading worthwhile. |

dunno, iTunes can be quite the resource hog when it wants to be! (also read the user license and how they say you cant use it to make nuclear weapons!)
Strange how its cheaper to buy it pre-made than a home build, is it all first hand equipment? |
