Where did all the wrestlin' fans go?

I remember there used to be loads of wrestling fans on the site but it looks like this sub forum probably doesn't need to exist. Should I remove it for now?

I think the further UGS stays clear of terms such as "pre-teen", the better.

I think the fact that MMA now dominates most contact sport discussion on the site suggests that indeed people may have grown out of WWE. In saying that you can't quite beat the Divas yet.

I still watch wrestling when i can.
just not WWE, usually Ring of Honor, Frontier Martial Arts Japan, TNA pre-getting shit and some of the new british stuff on TWC.

I think the majority of the wresting fans on UGS lost interest when WWE starting going downhill. A lesser demographic lost interest when ECW closed it's doors, because it's all about being ALLEEGUNT TO PROPUR RESSLIN, NO FAIK VINSE MICKMAN SHIT SELL OUT BASTARDZ!, TOMMY DREAM IS A GOD 2 ME! w00t :|

i don't condone the latest incarnation of ECW, the only redeemable feature is that they have something to do with mid-carders with no propect of a push (those who suffer from Jericho-Gunn syndrome) and they had somewhere for CM Punk to go that fitted his gimmick.

Haha, so me and Keerin are now successfully "dominating" the contact sport discussion. Excellent!

I'll try and post some more news stories and event results etc on the MMA front to keep anyone that's interested up to date.

i can only really speak for myself but i have to say that WWF got shit years ago when it got more like watching an episode of home and away than it was about wrestling.
e-c-dub was the shit.
I got tired of watching greased up muscly men pretending to fight and prefer watching other greasy muscly men actually fight each other :P

I was actually a mod of a band forum on here like 3 years ago for One Man Race...good days them, good days indeed.

I am heading to bed soon like and probably wont be on much tomorrow since it is new years but once I do I will get back on to this.

There are definetly fans on the board, they just needed someone to spruce it up for them and I am that man.
