Brock Lesnar makes his UFC debut this Sunday (Bravo 9pm)

UFC 81 is this weekend

I figured some of the wrestling fans might be interested in checking this out. Brock Lesnar has his 2nd ever MMA fight this weekend and in it he is facing former UFC Heavyweight champ Frank Mir. It's on Bravo at 9pm on Sunday.

Lesnar will get owned i think, he did well in his first fight against someone who didnt have as much time to prepare for the fight.

id like to see Lesnar win though just to quieten a few of the folk up on the differences between MMA and WWE.

mir is to well rounded he will submit lesnar early, although brock has amazing ameuter wrestling he has,nt had long enough to prepare in each discipline, i,d like to see brock win,

I've not seen it yet but I heard that Lesnar looked like shit on the All Access show they did with him recently. I was on the fence but I think I'm going for Mir now. I'll reserve my final decision until I see what kind of shape Mir is in at the weigh-ins tonight.

Seriously though, Mir's experience might just be the deciding factor here.

I dunno like, after watching the Countdown to UFC81 last night, brock is actually in amazing shape and has been training like fuck for this but Mir has pretty much been studying Brocks moves and had pro wrestlers in helping him so I reckon he'll know what to expect. He's probably gonna be alot faster aswell. I think Mir will win this but its a hard one to call

Having now seen this fight online, I think Brock Lesnar has the makings of a great fighter in the UFC. I mean, did you see the state of Mir's face after 90 seconds?

Brock definately has to work on escaping submission he has absolutly no ju jitsu expierence, i reckon he will be vastly improved next time round

Brock even said himself it was a move he had scouted, i think brock looks promising...he just needs to get the experience which Mir used to his advantage to win.

he looked explosive i,ll say that for brock, i did actually want him to win, it just shows the ignorance of pro wrestlers thinking they can make a huge name for themselves in mma, with no experience aside ametuer wrestling, the ufc heavyweight division does need a big name and hopefully lesnar will win his next bout

Indeed. Brock was on fire. The damage he done to Mir in the 90 seconds was brutal, he could have finished the fight a lot earlier. But obviously a rookie mistake cost him the match. I'll definitely tune in to see his next fight, I'm sure he'll be a little more cautious instead of going in with all guns blazing. If all goes well in the next few match’s I'll tip him to do some great thing, hopefully the world heavyweight championship within the next few years
