Beyond the Grave have recently completed the recording of their first demo / e p and are preparing to consolidate the strong foundation they have created for themselves on the local scene in the North East by spreading the word further.

Beyond the Grave are a five piece heavy metal band playing heavy metal with an energy that has been lost since the days of Iron Maiden, Pantera and the like. Staying true to their old school roots Beyond the Grave not only play uncompromising heavy metal but combine this with an energy and stage presence reminiscent of metal at its best. Beyond the Grave have no wish to recreate the past but do want to bring metal music back to its past glory.

2005 has been a pivotal year in the history of the band. We now have a strong recording, a loyal and rapidly growing fan base, the launch of our brand new website and some damn good heavy metal songs, described as powerful and engaging in the local music press, to back it all up.

You can expect a lot from Beyond the Grave in the coming months including new songs and a few new additions to our stage show as we continue to grow in strength and character. We have a lot of great support which is just continuing to grow and with their help and the help of our debut recording were going to take the Beyond the Grave experience further, wider and to a new level in 2006.

We now have a permanent bass player in Andy and we'd like to officially welcome him to the band.

So enough of this now is the time to come along for ride, we're sure you wont be disappointed.
