Entropy is a punk rock club night which runs monthly (usually the third Friday of every month) in Club Cage. Entropy started in March, 2004 and was run by former Coalesce DJ Neil Quinney and Cage DJ Doug Clark. It came about as the result of a discussion about nights at Cage on Underground Scene.

From September, 2007 onwards, Doug Clark was no longer involved in DJ-ing at Entropy as (at his suggestion) he was replaced by Barry Kydd. Barry Kydd is a member of local acoustic-punk duo 15 Minutes.

Musically, it covers a wide spectrum of what is considered punk, including older punk, ska, hardcore, emo etc. Generally, mainstream and commercial bands like My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy etc. are shunned in favour of bands that the DJs feel are more in keeping with the ethos and spirit of punk.
