Current Support for Local Bands

The new Westport Bar continued where the old left off but under new management has become a larger and perhaps more popular venue for touring bands and local acts in the city. Featuring a much bigger venue on the top floor and a larger pub area on the bottom the venue has become perfect for hosting some of the larger touring acts that visit Dundee.

The top floor also includes a bar and seated area and a large dance floor section.

Previous Support for Local Bands

The original Westport Bar was one of the best venues in Dundee for local and touring music. The top floor of the old Westie was used as a gigging venue while the bottom floor was the main pub which also hosted house DJ sets.
